I met Carl 10 years ago a few times and when I moved back to the Carolinas he was the only realtor I knew. My experience with Carl Patterson at eXp Realty was superb and I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to either buy or sell their home. I was relocating from Charlotte, NC to Rock Hill, SC so I was both selling my home of 25 yrs in Charlotte and trying to find and purchase a home in Rock Hill during a totally crazy time in the real estate market. I had already interviewed 2 other companies who each used the 3-member team approach, very different from when I purchased my last home. They both seemed knowledgeable and competent but maybe a little too smooth and a little too glitzy.
I was very nervous and really hoped to find a realtor who would see me as a person with a very particular personality and needs rather than a business opportunity. Carl was a godsend. Totally professional, totally knowledgeable of both the NC and SC markets, but, especially, totally genuine. He really listened to me and I could tell he was understanding what I was saying. He came up with the best plan to market and sell my house and oversaw that process flawlessly.
The process of finding my new home in Rock Hill was way trickier than I had anticipated, primarily because I didn't know the area plus, I thought I knew what I was looking for but that continued to change and evolve once I got down here and began the search. Throughout the whole process of house-hunting, Carl was unbelievably patient, adjusting to my constant ambivalence, hesitancy and ever-changing preferences. Carl just rolled with it. He allowed me to evolve in my own time, at my own pace. He was always just a phone call away, helping and informing, answering my every question, allowing me to pick his brain. Once we found "the house" he was still there for me, doing all the hard work of negotiating and bringing the deal to a successful close.
And, 7 months later, he's still here for me, always available to answer any question or recommend a tradesperson or service I might need.
But, here's the most important thing I can say about Carl Patterson. He is just an extremely kind human being. He set the bar way high. I can't imagine how my experience could have ever been any better.

Carl Patterson and his team are phenomenal!! My husband was drawn to the group after their high reviews/ratings! They certainly lived up to the expectations!! Their videographer did an amazing job in setting up a video of our home on their site. Within hours of posting, the appointment center kept us on our toes with updates of several showings. And within a few days following, we were considering 3 offers from prospective buyers!! Carl was readily available in following up when it was time for inspections and put us in touch with an efficient maintenance crew to follow up on a checklist of items to pre-closing. Carl was so easy to work with! He made this process effortless in a quick selling market! We closed within 40 days!! We appreciate all his time and communication through the continuous group texts. Carl is now helping me to prepare in purchasing a newly constructed Townhome and again he has surprised me with his continuous involvement and knowledge. Carl is a lifelong resident of Rock Hill South Carolina. He attended Northwestern High School, York Technical College and Spartanburg Methodist College. Carl started his real estate career with one of the area’s top real estate firms. After a year in general real estate brokerage Carl decided to work on site with new construction so that he would know how homes are built and how developments are created to help build his knowledge for his career. Carl worked with multiple builders over the years including Adams Homes, True Homes USA and Regent Homes. Carl won multiple awards for top sales and productivity with each builder that he worked with. In 2010 Carl Patterson wanted to put his vast knowledge of new construction and sales training to work alongside a listing professional so he and Meg Bradley decided to create a real estate team. With the idea of creating a top producing team they felt it was necessary to create the team with the top real estate company in the Charlotte area, Keller Williams Realty in Fort Mill South Carolina.
