I was relocating from Charlotte, NC to Rock Hill, SC so I was both selling my home of 25 yrs in Charlotte and trying to find and purchase a home in Rock Hill during a totally crazy time in the real estate market. I had already interviewed 2 other companies who each used the 3-member team approach, very different from when I purchased my last home. They both seemed knowledgeable and competent but maybe a little too smooth and a little too glitzy. I was very nervous and really hoped to find a realtor who would see me as a person with a very particular personality and needs rather than a business opportunity. Carl was a godsend. Totally professional, totally knowledgeable of both the NC and SC markets, but, especially, totally genuine. He really listened to me and I could tell he was understanding what I was saying. He came up with the best plan to market and sell my house and oversaw that process flawlessly. The process of finding my new home in Rock Hill was way trickier than I had anticipated, primarily because I didn't know the area plus, I thought I knew what I was looking for but that continued to change and evolve once I got down here and began the search. Throughout the whole process of house-hunting, Carl was unbelievably patient, adjusting to my constant ambivalence, hesitancy and ever-changing preferences. Carl just rolled with it. He allowed me to evolve in my own time, at my own pace. He was always just a phone call away, helping and informing, answering my every question, allowing me to pick his brain. Once we found "the house" he was still there for me, doing all the hard work of negotiating and bringing the deal to a successful close. And, 7 months later, he's still here for me, always available to answer any question or recommend a tradesperson or service I might need. But, here's the most important thing I can say about Carl Patterson. He is just an extremely kind human being. He set the bar way high. ! My husband was drawn to the group after their high reviews/ratings! They certainly lived up to the expectations!! Their videographer did an amazing job in setting up a video of our home on their site. Within hours of posting, the appointment center kept us on our toes with updates of several showings. And within a few days following, we were considering 3 offers from prospective buyers!! Carl was readily available in following up when it was time for inspections and put us in touch with an efficient maintenance crew to follow up on a checklist of items to pre-closing. During our search of homes they were thorough and gave 1000% to make sure that we were able to make decisions concerning bids, contractors to use for remediation, internet, exterminators and every other conceivable contractor that a prospective buyer needs to make an informed purchase decision. And that doesn't even mention how personable they were when we were looking many different properties, including a virtual tour when we could not visit from out-of-state. I encourage everyone who reads this to engage their services. You will be likewise rewarded.
